Inherited Ideas

This is probably the best post for a mission statement, or the tragic tale of how I came to start blogging, or something along those momentous lines. Unfortunately, I have nothing that significant to say for my first post. I'm sure the purpose of this blog will become more apparent with time.

Twain's comment about inherited ideas is, like many of his comments, obvious, once you think about it. Our thoughts are almost entirely a compendium of others' older thoughts. Some call this 'tradition', others 'learning'. We'll see.
